ISI performed plant analysis for the layout of a new building housing the cleaning, gate removal, and rough grinding operations located in three corporate divisions. A computer model was developed to analyze the existing process capabilities and predict process capabilities for alternate flow layouts and various combinations of existing and new equipment. ISI worked with floor supervisors and operators to develop process flows and plant layout alternatives. The result of our analysis showed an overall process time saving of over 26 percent compared to the existing facilities.
